Centred On Counselling does not require a Mental Health Care Plan for referrals to be accepted. Therefore, the client will not be able to access Government or Mental Health subsidies through Medicare Better Access.
Clients or the client representative will be required to pay the full amount listed in the table above at the time of their appointment.
Payment in advance or pre-paid appointments can be arranged and an invoice issued to the payee or funding body. Funders will be consulted with prior to client consultations taking place.
Centred On Counselling does offer Private Health Care Fund rebates from the Australian Regional Health Group (ARHG) and Bupa which can be claimed by the client. Paid invoices will be issued to the client for rebate access.
Payments can be made either via credit/debit card (private clients) or invoices sent to the payee for a direct deposit option. Preferences will be selected on the intake document.
The Centred On Counselling Payment and Cancellation Policy outlines the requirements of non-attendance and if an appointment is cancelled within 24 hours without prior notice. Both circumstances will issue the client or payee with 50% of the full cost to be paid within 14 days of the missed appointment unless otherwise an alternative option has been confirmed.
#1 Centred On Counselling is not a Family Therapy service. It is important at times to bring families together to improve communication and connection. Family sessions will be offered in the best interests of the referred client.
#2 Please note the number of people permitted to attend indoors will be limited to any government regulations.
#3 Telehealth and phone invoices will be sent directly to the client or payee immediately after completion of the session. Payment is requested within 7 days of the appointment date.
#4 Hours will be discussed with relevant parties and an invoice prepared. Payment is requested to be paid in full by the client or payee prior to commencement of the activity unless otherwise agreed upon.
#5 Fees for travel time and preparation may vary and will be charged accordingly and discussed and agreed upon by all parties.
#6 For outreach appointments, the fee stipulated includes 30 minutes of travel time. For travel exceeding 30 minutes, an additional fee will be charged per amount of travel time TBC.
